Parker-Sonnet-Lacquer-Fountain-Pen-Fine-PointI had got this pen for Christmas and really wanted the pen even though I didn’t know the first thing about fountain pens. Filling the converter or cleaning it, etc. I ended up shelving it for a couple years until I got the itch to try it again. I had to clean it out, the ink had dried and studied up on the how to care for and use a fountain pen. I was hooked.

Ever since I’ve been using this pen, pretty much exclusively with the converter. It hasn’t dulled at all and the gold plating is still perfect, nib is perfect. For those new to the fountain pen I recommend getting some ink you can dip the nib into to get the ink started when loading a new cartridge or a converter, use a scratch pad to get the ink flowing and your good to go.
